Becoming a member of the Finger Lakes Beer Trail is all around good business! Not only does it benefit your business directly by providing a multitude of valuable benefits and opportunities for exposure, it benefits the entire Finger Lakes craft brewing industry as well. Your support allows the Finger Lakes Beer Trail to further develop programs and initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility and reputation of the region’s craft brewers, thus attracting more beer-loving tourists to the Finger Lakes region and ultimately through your front door.
We are happy to offer breweries and businesses along the Finger Lakes Beer Trail a number of options tailored to meet your needs. With specific benefits designed to increase the visibility and awareness of your business, you will find membership in the Finger Lakes Beer Trail to be the most cost effective way to promote your business in the region!
Click on the appropriate category below for details and application.
Brewery Membership – All breweries and brewpubs in the region are listed on the website for free, however we strongly encourage you to become a paid member to take advantage of additional benefits, such as being listed as a location on the annual print map, advertising opportunities, and inclusion in special Trail programs.
Associate Membership – Open to non-brewing businesses (i.e., lodging establishments, tap houses, beverage centers, tour/transportation companies, etc.), this option provides an impressive collection of cost-effective benefits.
Transportation Providers – Open to tour and transportation companies, this option provides inclusion on our list of recommended tour and transportation companies as well as discounted pricing on advertising.
In addition to membership, we also offer the following partnership opportunities:
Print Map Advertising – A variety of advertising options are available on the Finger Lakes Beer Trail print map which is distributed to breweries, visitor centers, lodging establishments, restaurants, and tourist attractions throughout the Finger Lakes and surrounding regions. The map is printed annually in May. For details, contact [email protected]
Reciprocal Website Linkages – FingerLakesBeerTrail.com is willing to engage in reciprocal linking relationships with other Finger Lakes tourism‐related association websites as well as craft brewing websites/blogs whose content is of interest to our readers. Every link is evaluated on a case by case basis, however, the link should be an even exchange in value and it is expected that the page where your link to FLBT is placed shall have about the same PR value as ours. Please note, we will not exchange links with businesses that qualify as a member in accordance with the above categories in lieu of annual membership fees.
Marketing / Solicitation Requests – We receive many requests from businesses, such as insurance agencies, promotional product distributors, glassware manufacturers, etc. asking us to forward advertising information to our membership database. Because of the value we provide to our members, we do wish to overflow their inboxes with a multitude of random marketing and solicitation materials. Therefore, our policy is to only forward information to our membership that (1) is from another member of the Finger Lakes Beer Trail, or (2) provides a specific opportunity, such as a discount, that only full supporting members of the Finger Lakes Beer Trail would be eligible or entitled to receive.
